If you have high ceilings and are looking for a richly decorated, ornate cornice that you're unlikely to see anywhere else, this could be for you.

This is an original Victorian design, which in its day would have been used in some extremely grand houses.

Today, it is regularly used in the restoration of large Victorian properties. Often the when they are being converted back into one dwelling, after at some time in the past being split up into a number of flats, during which many of the period features were unfortunately destroyed.

We also have a small range of high-quality timber skirting boards and architraves, these are large sizes of Victorian designs, which can be difficult to find these days. They can be used alongside this cornice, should the timber mouldings also have been removed or damaged beyond repair, SB009 and ARC002 are a large Victorian skirting board and architrave, respectively.

All our plaster cornice is handmade using the same techniques and materials that were used in Victorian times. It would be impossible to capture the fine detail of these grapes and vine leaves any other way than by moulding them by hand.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I ORDER?

If you measure your plaster coving needs and order an exact amount, one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this, we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer lengths are used wherever possible, as this will create a better finish. This coving comes in 2.4m lengths.

Please remember, our coving is priced and ordered by the metre, not per length. Prices include VAT.
