We deliver plaster coving  to the Salford area several times a week. Our Stockport warehouse is  just off junction 28 of the M60, so if you would prefer to come in and collect your coving it is only a short drive. If  you would like it delivered, we  use our own vans and drivers, because of the fragile nature of plaster coving,  to ensure it arrives in good condition. And to make sure it stays that way our drivers will make sure it is handled correctly and stacked safely, ready for when it comes to be used. This is especially important on busy sites.

We still make all our plaster coving by hand using the same materials and techniques that were used in Victorian times, each length of coving or ceiling rose is individually moulded, it is still a truly handmade product.

The Salford area has a huge range of different properties from fine Georgian and Victorian houses reflecting its status in those times, to smaller Victorian and Edwardian terraces and properties built from the 1930s onwards, whilst it is hard to generalise here are some designs and styles that sell much better than others in the area, these if you are looking for inspiration, are a good place to start.

LPC017 is a Classic Victorian design, a Swan Neck Cornice, so called because it extends further across the ceiling than it goes down the wall, this is a large size suitable for Victorian and Edwardian detached and bigger terraces and semi detached. For houses with average height ceilings MPC065 is a smaller swan neck which will, in a smaller space, create just the same style. A plain spun ceiling rose such as MPR073 is a good choice to complete the look. LPC015 is also a very popular choice for more modern houses.

Most of the photographs have been sent in by our customers, and are the best way to get an accurate impression of how a particular cornice would really look, when fitted in your house. 

We would suggest you use experienced cornice fitters to fit your coving, not only will the end result be better, it should also be cheaper. They will not have problems with ceilings that are not level and walls that are not straight, things that they regard as just being part of the job. The inexperienced however can have real problems, they are not able to fit nearly as much coving in a day, and what they do fit, is not fitted to a decent standard.
