Swan Neck Cornice was widely used in the Victorian and Edwardian periods. Its name comes from the fact it extends further across the ceiling than it does down the wall.

MPC065 with its 4-inch drop is one of our most popular and versatile sizes, ideally suited to today's ceiling heights. It is equally at home adding some Victorian charm to a modern house or restoring the original look to a Victorian terrace where the original cornice has sadly been removed.

As the photographs opposite show, it can be used to great effect in bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, in fact, anywhere in the house will look better with the addition of Swan Neck Cornice. Handmade from the finest gypsum plaster, this cornice is supplied in 2.4m lengths. Samples are available and take only a couple of days to arrive.

All our cornices are kept in stock, and delivery only takes a few days using our own vehicles and drivers.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I ORDER?

If you measure your plaster coving needs and order an exact amount, one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this, we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer lengths are used wherever possible, as this will create a better finish. This coving comes in 2.4m lengths.
