We deliver plaster coving to the Guildford area at least twice a week. From our warehouse in Arundel it is only a short drive and we have vans going into London every day, we use our own vans and drivers to deliver our coving, to ensure it arrives in good condition, and to make sure it stays that way our drivers will check it is handled carefully and stacked safely ready for use. This is especially important on busy building sites.

All our plaster coving and ceiling roses are made by hand, we still use the same techniques and materials as were used over one hundred years ago, every ceiling rose and every length of coving is individually moulded, a truly handmade product. We keep large stocks of finished coving in our warehouse, which means we can deliver in a matter of days rather than weeks, as we do not have to wait for the coving to dry.

Guildford's mix of high quality houses means that certain types of coving are more popular than others, a couple of good examples being LPC015 and LPC030 both are bigger than average cornices and are frequently chosen for twentieth century detached and semi detached properties. For older Victorian and Edwardian houses, swan neck cornice is always popular, so called because it extends further across the ceiling than it does down the wall, LPC017 and MPC065 are two of the most popular sizes of this classic Edwardian/Victorian style. A plain spun ceiling rose such as LPR074 is a good choice to finish off the room.

Samples of all our coving can be ordered off the individual product pages, these pages also have hundreds of pictures of our coving in real life situations, most of these photographs have been sent in by our customers. They are the best way to get an accurate impression of how a particular cornice will look when fitted in your own home. It is surprising how the same cornice can look so completely different, depending on how the room has been decorated and furnished. 

We would suggest you always use experienced cornice fitters to fit your coving, not only will they do a better job, it should be cheaper as well, they will not have difficulties with walls that are not straight and ceilings that are not even. These things are just part of the job, but can cause the inexperienced, real problems. A good fitter will fit more coving in a day, and the coving they do fit, will be fitted to a higher standard.
