Carrington: Plaster Coving, Cornice and Ceiling Roses

Using our vans we deliver to Carrington and nearby areas multiple times per week. This means you do not have to worry about your coving being damaged during transport or long waiting times.

All of our plaster coving is made by hand using the materials and traditional techniques used since the Victorian times. Each ceiling rose, and every section of coving is moulded one by one with the entire process done by hand from start to finish.

Housing in Carrington is quite varied with mid-20th-century properties, post-war housing and newer residential developments. There are also some cottages and semi-rural homes reflecting its village setting near Trafford. Many properties have been updated inside over the years, often moving towards open-plan layouts. Swan neck coving, widely used in the era remains a timeless profile that can add elegance to a space. We offer swan neck designs to suit different room sizes, from LPC017 for rooms with higher ceilings to MPC065 for smaller rooms. Our LPR060 ornate ceiling rose pairs well with any of the swan neck styles.

We don't only supply coving suited to period properties, our full range caters to all styles and property types. LPC015 is an classic design that works well in 20th-century homes and modern builds. MPC046 and MPC051 are ideal for rooms with lower ceilings while our MPR073 is a simple spun ceiling rose that complements all of these designs.

You can easily order samples of any of our coving designs via the product pages with next-day delivery available. We also have photos showing our products installed in real homes submitted by our customers. This is a way to see how different styles will look in a setting similar to your own. These mouldings can completely transform a room and the before-and-after difference can be striking.

We always recommend using a professional fitter to install your coving. Not only will the finish be better but they will also be able to handle common issues such as uneven walls, unlevel ceilings and imperfect corners. These are typical in UK homes, and something any skilled tradesperson will be used to dealing with.
