Our coving is priced and ordered in metres. This large richly decorated cornice is an original period design and as you can see from the depth of the moulding it’s a substantial cornice. For the best results with heavily decorated cornice like this we would recommend you use an experienced cornice fitter. Whilst with care you could do the straight joints, you need experience to cut the miters (corners) and get the pattern to match. It should also only be filled with casting plaster or you may get cracking at the joints after your cornice has been fitted and decorated. We can recommend experienced cornice fitters in most areas if you need one and please follow this link to our video showing how to balance the mitres.

If you measure your plaster coving needs and order an exact amount then one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer lengths are used wherever possible as this will create a better finish. This coving comes in 2.3m lengths.
