Most Victorian ceiling roses are perfect circles. However, a few, such as this one, are not perfectly circular and follow the detail of their design. In this case, an outer border of acanthus leaves and scrolls.

This is one of those ceiling roses that is frequently chosen for the restoration of Victorian and Edwardian properties, where the ceiling rose and perhaps the coving has been removed in the past. The main image opposite shows the rose, fitted in a room where the original Victorian cornice has survived.

If you're also looking to replace the plaster cornice, LPC021 is a large cornice featuring Acanthus leaves, which will match the rose or, if you just wish to keep the ornate detail to the ceiling rose. A large swan neck cornice, such as LPC073, will also give you a truly authentic Victorian look.

This is a ceiling rose suited to large rooms with high ceilings, of the type typically found in Victorian and Edwardian houses.
