Classic Ceiling Rose Plaster Ceiling Rose 520mm dia. MPR064

This 520 mm or 21-inch plain spun ceiling rose, has long been a favourite with our customers. It features a pattern of concentric rings, which are slightly deeper than those of our other similar sized plain spun ceiling roses.

This creates a different pattern of light and shade, and makes the rose appear to be slightly more substantial, though in fact, exactly the same amount of plaster is used to make both. It is purely a matter of personal choice, between this rose and other similarly sized plain spun roses, such as MPR072. 

Ceiling roses, sized between 500 and 600 mm, are by far our most popular roses. This size is ideal for modern houses and for all but the biggest rooms of older Victorian and Edwardian properties.

As can be seen from the pictures opposite, this ceiling rose suits both traditional and modern light fittings, looking equally good in period and modern houses and decorating styles.

Often chosen with this rose is a plain run cornice, such as MPC051, which is complementary in both style and size.

We make all our plaster ceiling roses by hand, using the same techniques and materials that have been used since Victorian times. There is no other way to achieve the detail and finish of this rose other than making it by hand.
