Warwick: Plaster Coving, Cornice and Ceiling Roses

We deliver plaster coving to the Warwick area at least once a week, the areas mix of fine period properties from the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras, alongside high quality more recently built houses, ensures there is always a steady demand for decorative plaster, we have many of the local builders and tradesmen as regular customers.

We make all our plaster coving and ceiling roses by hand using the same materials and techniques that were used in Victorian times, each length of coving and each ceiling rose is individually moulded, a genuinely handmade product.

We have cornice designs dating back to the Victorian period and earlier, many of these do not look at all dated, they have a familiar look to them, and are not out of place in a modern setting. Others such as LPC015, a stylish cornice, although not tied to any particular type or age of property, is very popular with customers whose houses date from the 1930s onwards. Of our Victorian designs the swan neck profile (so called because the cornice extends further across the ceiling than it does down the wall) is probably the most popular. We have a range of sizes, LPC017 is suitable for the high ceilings and large rooms of the bigger Victorian houses, while MPC065 has the right proportions for the smaller rooms of terraces and is often chosen for modern houses and apartments, where it will transform a room. A plain spun ceiling rose such as LPR074 is a favourite choice to complete the room.

Samples of all our coving can be ordered off the website, there is an option to order a sample on each of the individual product pages, where you will also find hundreds of pictures of our coving in real life settings. The majority of these photographs have been sent in by our customers, and are the best way to get an impression of how a particular cornice would look if fitted in your own home, samples only take a couple of days to arrive.

We would suggest you only use experienced cornice fitters to fit your coving, not only will you get a better result it should also be cheaper, they will not have difficulties with ceilings that are not level or walls that are not straight, things that they regard as just part of the job. Those without the necessary experience can have real problems, we have good links with local tradesmen and can put you in touch with an experienced fitter used to working with our coving.

If you have any questions or would like any further information, please give our customer services team a call they will be happy to talk to you.

This homeowner in Warwick has recently installed our ever-so-popular Swan Neck Plaster Coving LPC030 and paired it with our Plain Acanthus Plaster Ceiling Rose MPR061, and just look at the visual interest it creates.

Thanks to the ornate yet simple design of both products, the features have helped add a radiant and thoughtful finish to the room with a touch of Victorian charisma.
