Hackney: Plaster Coving, Cornice and Ceiling Roses

We deliver to Hackney around twice, we keep large stocks of finished coving so that we can deliver quickly without having to wait for the coving to dry, meaning we can deliver in days rather than weeks. Plaster coving is fragile and needs to be handled correctly to keep it in perfect condition, we use our own vans and drivers who will bring the coving into your property and make sure it is stacked correctly so that it is in perfect condition when it comes to be fitted.

All our plaster coving is made by hand and we still use the same materials and techniques that were used in Victorian times, many of our designs also date back to the Victorian era. Original Victorian cornice designs such as LPC073 a large swan neck cornice, a distinctly Victorian/Edwardian profile, have been used extensively in the restoration of the boroughs period houses, often with a plain spun ceiling rose to complete the room such as LPR074.

We have worked with many of the local builders and tradesmen and can recommend experienced cornice fitters who are used to working with our coving. Not only will this get you a better finish It also usually works out cheaper as an experienced fitter will not have difficulties with features such as walls and ceiling that are not level and the many other quirks of older properties, they can therefore fit more coving, to a higher standard, in a day

Samples of all our cornice can be bought off the individual product pages of the website where there are also hundreds of pictures of our coving painted and decorated in real life settings, most of these have been sent in by customers, and give you a true impression of how our products will actually look once finished. Samples only take a couple of days to arrive.

We don't just sell coving for older properties, we have designs from all periods, and lots of traditional designs are actually timeless, looking as good today as when they were first made.
