Bromley: Plaster Coving, Cornice and Ceiling Roses

We deliver plaster coving to the Bromley area at least once a week, so there is never long to wait after placing an order. We use our own vans and drivers for deliveries to make sure our coving arrives in good condition, once there, our drivers will check the coving is handled carefully and stacked safely ready for use. We make all our plaster ceiling roses and plaster cornice by hand, using the same materials and techniques that were used in Victorian times. Cornice is made in 8 foot (2.4 meter) lengths which are individually moulded, as are all our ceiling roses. We keep large amounts of finished cornice and roses in stock so are able to meet even the largest orders in a matter of days not weeks.

Here are a few suggestions based upon what we know sells well in similar areas; they are only intended as a starting point for your search. The most important thing is to find a design you like. LPC015 is a stylish cornice that looks good anywhere with ceiling heights that are average or above, MPC046 is equally as stylish with smaller proportions for those with lower ceilings, Ogee cornices such as MPC039 or LPC001 are always popular, as they match the ogee mouldings that many people will have on their door architraves and skirting boards. A plain spun ceiling rose such as LPR074 is a good choice to go with any of these or if you would like something more ornate LPR072 and LPR060 are both quality Victorian designs.

Samples of all our cornices are available off the individual product pages, also on these pages are hundreds of pictures of our cornice in real life settings, most of these photographs have been sent in by our customers and are the best way to get an idea of how a particular design will actually look in your own home. It is always surprising just how different the same design can look depending on how a room has been decorated and furnished, samples only take a couple of days to arrive.

We would suggest you use experienced coving fitters to install your coving not only will the result be better it should also be cheaper. They will not have problems with walls that are not straight, ceilings that are not level, coving with a pattern or corners that are not right angles, all these things are just part of the job. Experienced fitters are able to put more coving up in a day and the coving they do fit is fitted to a higher standard. We have good contacts with local tradesmen and can put you in touch.
