This pretty floral cornice is very often chosen by customers for bedrooms, though it can, of course, be used throughout the house, all you need are lowish ceilings to keep it in proportion.

With a drop of 90mm, or four inches, and a small ceiling projection of 80mm, just over 2 inches, it is suitable for smaller rooms and lower ceilings of the type often found in the bedrooms of older properties, where the ceiling heights tended to be lower.
