Victorian Sunflower Plaster Ceiling Rose 750mm dia. LPR026

With a diameter of 750 mm, or 30 inches, this rose is the ideal size for the larger rooms and higher ceilings of Victorian and Edwardian houses, though it will not look out of place in a houses of any age, as long as the room is big enough and the ceiling high enough for the rose to look in proportion.

This design is less busy than many others, with a central sunflower design within a beaded border, then a wide plain border within a scalloped outer border and moulding giving it, a more understated look.

It has the same central sunflower design as our medium plaster ceiling rose MPR006 these two ceiling roses are often used together in the larger and smaller rooms of a property.

Each one of these ceiling roses is individually moulded by hand, using the same techniques and materials that were used in Victorian times. Indeed, it would be impossible to capture the fine detail of the petals any other way than for this to be made by hand.
