We manufacture a number of different stepped Art Deco cornices. They can be split into two categories: those that extend further across the ceiling than they do down the wall, and those that extend further down the wall than they do across the ceiling.

This cornice is one of two stepped cornices that we manufacture, which extend further across the ceiling than they do down the wall. This is the smaller of the two, with a 50mm or 2-inch drop, and extends across the ceiling 170 mm, or just under 7 inches.

This cornice can be used to great effect anywhere, regardless of the ceiling height, but it's particularly useful in areas with lower ceilings where a substantial stylish cornice is desired.

A plain spun ceiling rose, such as LPR074, will go very nicely with this cornice.

Our other stepped Art Deco cornices, which extend further down the wall than they do across the ceiling, are LPC025 (150 mm drop), MPC055 (115 mm drop), and MPC028 (95 mm drop).

All our plaster cornice is made by hand using the same materials and techniques that were used in Victorian times. It would actually be impossible to make this cornice any other way and achieve the clean lines that we do.

If you measure your plaster coving needs and order an exact amount, one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this, we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer lengths are used wherever possible, as this will create a better finish. This coving comes in 2.4m lengths.

Please remember, our coving is priced and ordered by the metre, not per length. Prices include VAT.
