Plaster Coving Ogee 95mm Drop MPC047
Drop: 100mmProjection: 100mm
This medium ogee cornice has a little more detail on it than a standard ogee curve. It features an ogee curve bisected two-thirds of the way down with a double linear moulding.
With a drop of 95mm, or just under 4 inches, this is the ideal size for rooms, with ceiling heights of around today's average. Which makes it ideal for modern houses and also, the upstairs rooms of older properties, where the ceilings are often lower.
Like all ogee coving, it will complement well timber skirting boards and architraves, the majority of which also feature the ogee curve.
This is one of those plaster cornices that is not associated with any particular period and will blend in well in any house that's been built in the last 250 years.
We make all our plaster coving by hand. Each length is individually moulded. Still using the same techniques and materials that were used in Victorian times.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I ORDER?
If you measure your plaster coving needs and order an exact amount, one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this, we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer lengths are used wherever possible, as this will create a better finish. This coving comes in 2.4m lengths.
