Ogee Plaster Coving 100mm MPC082
Drop: 100mmProjection: 105mm
This compact ogee plaster cornice features the ogee curve, which has been used in decorative timber and plaster mouldings since Georgian times.
The ogee profile can be found in skirting boards, architraves, and both modern and antique furniture, fitted kitchens and many other places, both in period and modern houses. Which means like all ogee cornices, this cornice will blend in anywhere.
The cornice features an ogee curve for the bottom two-thirds of the design, with linear mouldings above, with a drop of 100mm, just over four inches. It is the ideal size for the smaller rooms in Victorian and Edwardian properties, and also for more modern properties, which often have lower ceilings.
A plain spun ceiling rose such as MPR073 is an excellent match for this type of plain cornice.
We still make all our plaster cornice by hand. Each length is individually moulded using the same materials and techniques that were used in Victorian times.
HOW MUCH SHOULD I ORDER?
If you measure your plaster coving needs and order an exact amount, one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this, we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer lengths are used wherever possible, as this will create a better finish. This coving comes in 2.3m lengths.
Please remember, our coving is priced and ordered by the metre, not per length. Prices include VAT.
