This very large Dentil plaster cornice is unusual in that it extends further across the ceiling than it reaches down the wall. We reproduced this cornice for a customer who had a large Victorian house in London that was missing a section of original cornice.

Everybody was so pleased that we decided to add this cornice to our online range, With a drop of 150 mm or six inches, and a projection of 225 mm or nine inches. You need high ceiling and large rooms for this cornice to look in proportion.

The dentil pattern was extremely popular in Georgian and Victorian times. And this large cornice Is perfect for restoring larger Victorian and Edwardian properties with their high ceilings.

A Plain spun ceiling rose goes very well with this cornice. LPR076 is our largest Plain spun ceiling rose, with a diameter of 1 metre. Ideal for the high ceilings and large rooms where this cornice will look its best

We use our own vans and drivers to deliver our plaster cornice, which is especially important with a Large Plaster Cornice such as this, to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. 

We make all our plaster coving by hand. Each length is individually moulded using the same materials and techniques that were used in Victorian times. Indeed, it would be impossible to make a large cornice such as this, and capture the fine detail and crisp lines, any other way than by making it by hand.

If you measure your plaster coving needs and order an exact amount, one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this, we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer lengths are used wherever possible, as this will create a better finish. This coving comes in 2.3m lengths.
