Shevington: Plaster Coving, Cornice and Ceiling Roses

We deliver to Shevington and the surrounding areas at least twice a week, so no need to worry about long lead times affecting your renovation plans. All of our plaster products. Our Northern warehouse is not far away, located in Stockport, just off junction 28 of the M60. We are able to offer a click and collect service at the warehouse, so please feel free to pop in and see us. We are open Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm. 

At Plaster Ceiling Roses, we are proud to make all of our plaster products by hand using the same traditional materials and techniques that were used in Victorian times. Each ceiling rose and every piece of coving is individually cast; the entire process from start to finish is done entirely by hand. 

During the Victorian era, Shevington rapidly expanded to house the workers as Wigan industrialised. Rows and rows of terraced houses were quickly built to keep up with the growing demand. Following the Second World War. Afterwards, semi-detached and detached houses were built, featuring driveways, bay windows and gardens. These estates were very family-oriented. Moving into the 20th century and the town's regenerative plan for new homes, the town now hosts a diverse mix of housing and boasts tons of character. 

The most popular coving design we supply to Shevington is our classic Swan Neck plaster coving, which is instantly recognisable to anyone familiar with fine plaster details and period properties. We offer this style in various sizes, suitable for any room, allowing you to achieve a consistent finish throughout your home. For larger rooms with high ceilings, our LPC017 is the ideal choice. For medium-sized rooms with an average ceiling, our MPC065 works best. We also offer our plain spun ceiling roses in various sizes, making it the perfect pairing for our swan neck range.

If you want a more contemporary interior, our Ogee Plaster coving MPC039 offers a sleek finish and versatile transition from wall to ceiling and works best in rooms with average ceiling heights. Our LPC080 offers the same silhouette for larger rooms with higher ceilings. 

You can order a sample for any of our coving designs from the individual product pages; these are sent out to you via next-day delivery. There are also countless photos of all of our products, showcased in various interiors. This is A great way to visualise our products in your own home. 

We would always recommend using an experienced fitter to install your coving and ceiling roses. The results will be better because they can rectify common issues, such as uneven ceilings and walls, matching up patterned coving and dealing with corners that are not right angles.
