Failsworth: Plaster Ceiling Coving, Cornice and Ceiling Roses

We typically deliver to Failsworth 2-3 times a week thanks to our Northern warehouse in Stockport just over a 20 minute drive away. We warmly welcome visitors at our warehouse so if you would like to pay us a visit please feel free to do so, our friendly operatives can help with recommendations or find you the best match. It's not necessary to place an order before visiting, however we would recommend making an appointment. We are open Monday - Friday from 8am until 4pm, you can find us at Pama House, Stockport Road East, SK6 2AA.

If you would prefer a delivery, all of our plaster products are hand delivered by our very own team of dedicated drivers who will ensure your order is delivered safely. Our coving and ceiling roses are raw materials and need to be handled with care. Although very sturdy, fragile edges and ornate detailing can be easily damaged if not handled correctly, our driver will also be happy to advise you how to best store plaster coving ready for installation. Coving should be stacked neatly free from traffic and away from walkways, this is particularly important on busy building sites. Ceiling roses should be stored flat also free from walkways.

All of our plaster ceiling roses, cornice, panel mouldings and corbels are made by hand using the same materials and traditional techniques that were used during the Victorian era. This ensures authentic details, high quality and durable finishes. Coving is made in 2.4 meter (8 foot) lengths, each one along with our ceiling roses is individually cast. The whole process from start to finish is completely done by hand. Thanks to our spacious workshops we are able to maintain large quantities of stock which allows us to fulfill substantial orders for big projects in a matter of days

Failsworth, like most of Greater Manchester, is home to many period properties due to the rapid expansion during the industrial revolution, countless homes such as timeless terraced houses and semi-detached properties were built to cope with the housing demand. It has been a privilege to contribute to various renovation projects in the Failsworth area where original architectural features have been lost over the decades. Swan Neck coving, known for its iconic profile that extends further across the ceiling than down the wall, is a popular choice for restoring period homes. Our swan neck range is available in a range of sizes allowing you to create a consistent finish throughout your home. The LPC030 is ideal for larger properties with higher ceilings, and the MPC065 or SPC070 provides the same elegant transition for homes with average to lower ceilings. These designs can be beautifully paired with a plain spun ceiling rose such as MPR072 or for a more ornate Victorian design consider our LPR026 with featured sunflower details.

Coving and ceiling roses are suitable for all homes and not just for period ones, we supply a wide range of various styles to suit all kinds of interiors. For a more modern aesthetic our Ogee Plaster coving MPC039 provides a sleek transition from wall to ceiling which is ideal for adding style and luxury in  new builds. Samples are available to purchase via the individual product pages which will allow you to get a better feel for the products before committing to a purchase. On these pages you will also be able to view countless images of our coving designs and ceiling roses in various settings, this will help you discover your own personal style.

We would suggest you use an experience coving fitter for installation as some elements of the job can prove to be too complex for DIY projects. We also believe that using a professional will save you time and money as an experienced fitter can easily identify common issues and rectify them accordingly. Some common issues are as follows: uneven walls and ceiling, non right angles and patterned coving. A professional is also less likely to waste materials when working with quick setting adhesive and cutting internal/external corners.

We have various contacts for passionate and reliable cornice fitters that cover the Failsworth area, please get in touch if you would like their contact details. Our customer service team will also be happy to answer any further questions you may have.
