Drop: 95mm | Projection 110mm | Width: 145mm
This plaster coving with a prominent ogee curve has a drop of just under four inches (95mm) and a projection of 110mm making it is an ideal size for most modern properties. It has a simple stylish design which based upon an ogee curve bisected two thirds of the way down with a double linear moulding. This is one of those coving designs that does not photograph well but looks very good when fitted, and is well worth including in your selection of samples. Plaster coving with a larger ceiling projection than drop became popular in Victorian times, with the ceiling projection increasing over time. In the earlier Georgian period, cornice always had a much smaller ceiling projection than drop.
If you measure your room(s) and order an exact amount of coving then one wall could end up being finished in small off-cuts. To avoid this we recommend you order 15% extra to ensure longer pieces of coving are used wherever possible as this will create a better finish.
**Our coving is priced per metre, not per length
